SignalFire Introduces New Chemical Injection System
Hudson, Ma. – Chemical Injection is expensive and often poorly controlled and monitored. Under-dose and you risk equipment failure, premature reworks, and down time. Dose too heavily and you can spend tens of thousands of dollars per year unnecessarily.
“Currently, most chemical injection is managed with simple timers with little or no operator visibility for performance. The SignalFire Chemical Injection Monitoring and Control System provides users the ability to remotely monitor and control their chemical injection systems from either a local RTU/SCADA system or through a central service such as Wonderware, Cygnet or other enterprise management system.” Said Scott Keller, CEO of SignalFire Telemetry Key features include:
- Auto Pump Calibration – No need for manual calibration
- Injection Rates Vary With Production Rate
More Production = More Injection, No Production = No Injection
- Remotely Change Injection Parameters – Settable PPM dosing rate
- Monitor Tank Levels
- Monitor Pump Performance and Systems Diagnostics
- Real Time Clock Records Daily Injection Amounts (settable contract hour)
Wired or wireless integration via Modbus. Integrates with other nodes in the SignalFire Telemetry System for cost effective, open architecture, wireless monitoring and control system.
“To date Chemical Injection has been running “open loop”, Keller remarked. “Visibility – right now – as to what is really happening at the injection site has been very limited. With declining oil prices, the need to optimize the value of every operating expense has never been greater. With the SignalFire Chemical Injection Monitoring and Control System, paybacks can be well under one year making it a very attractive investment”.
